Interchange news
Kevin Walsh - 05 April 2007 - 12:12 PM (EDT) Interchange news

The LinuxTag 2007 Link to an external page organisers have accepted an application for the Interchange development group to operate a free booth alongside some of the other great Open Source projects.  This year's LinuxTag event will be held in Berlin, Germany, and will run from the 30th May 2007 through until the 2nd June 2007.

Interchange core team members from various European countries will be on hand to offer presentations, consultations and general advice about Interchange.  Visitors to the Interchange booth will have the opportunity to meet with a couple of the experts to discover more about what Interchange has to offer.

NEWS UPDATE 1
Kevin Walsh - 19 April 2007 11:13 AM (EDT)

We have been informed that the Interchange project will not have a booth to itself at this year's LinuxTag event.  It seems that we will have to share our booth, in hall 14.1, with the following open source projects:

  • Joomla!
  • YaCy Peer-to-Peer Web Search.
  • Zope.

Perhaps we need some kind of "Perl power" banner.  Smiley
