HouseKeeping

Specify how often Interchange will look for reconfiguration requests and hung processes etc.

Synopsis

HouseKeeping  interval

The parameter is expected to be a time interval.  The default is "60" (seconds).

Scope

This directive is only available for use in the global (interchange.cfg) configuration file, and will affect all websites running under the Interchange installation.  It will not work in a website's local (catalog.cfg) configuration file.

Description

Specify how often Interchange will look for reconfiguration requests and hung processes etc.

On some systems, the only time the server will terminate in response to a stop command is during a housekeeping run.

Examples

You may specify the time in seconds:

HouseKeeping  30

You may also specify the time using an Interchange time interval string:

HouseKeeping  2 minutes
